The wildebeest migration provided the impetus for an explosive week of photographic opportunity. The wildlife was seemingly everywhere, tracked by our expert guide. Cheetahs chased desert foxes. Lions tracked wildebeest and zebra. Ostriches marched across the plains under dark storm clouds. Lions soaked up the last of the day’s sun in the gentle breeze.

Towards the end of my time there, I visited a Maasai village and captured one of my favourite images of all time. The Maasai were dancing on the plains in front of the setting sun. I played with exposure times and movement and joined their rhythm. The shot in this gallery serves to remind me that life is short and precious…that it rises from the ground, spends precious moments breathing the air, then descends to dust once more. I never want to forget this. I hope you can share some connection through my pictures.
