About me

I was born in London and grew up in the capital. From an early age, I loved to explore new opportunities and see new things.  At the age of 16, I persuaded three friends to join me on a cycle from the Swiss Alps to London.  That journey instilled a love for independent travel and adventure, which still burns brightly. Hand in hand with this passion is my love of photography.

I was fortunate to study for a semester in Vancouver, British Columbia, a city blessed with stunning mountain and coastal scenery. It was here that I developed a particular passion for landscape photography.  The search for jaw dropping vistas and cultures continues to fuel my love of independent travel.

Everywhere I go, I take my camera and lenses. I embarked on a 12-month journey to seek out some of the far-flung parts of the earth I had always dreamed about.

I set sail for Antarctica onboard a 3-mast tall ship. I trekked the Himalayas for three months, walking to Everest Base Camp en route. I cycled the west coast of the United States, island hopped in Hawaii and toured through South America taking in Colombian rainforest, Machu Picchu, the Atacama Desert and beautiful Buenos Aires.

I vIisited the Japanese Alps and soaked up the stunning spring blossom in Kyoto. I wandered the streets of Jerusalem, Ramallah and Bethlehem in the Middle East and marvelled at the northern lights with the polar bears of Svalbard.

Today that journey continues, but now with my family by my side....my four beautiful children and wonderful wife, Michelle. I hope you enjoy looking at this site. If you have any questions. please feel free to get in touch. It would be nice to hear from you.
